Star Trek Armada (both parts) are fantastic games.. Yeah, I used Parallels to virtually run Windows 11. I then downloaded GOG Galaxy, and Downloaded Armada I and II (after purchasing them). Just beware that the browser on the virtual windows 11 is very slow. It is probably better to buy the game using the browser on your native OS.

I'm suddenly reminded of a game that was suppose to be 'ready to play' with dosbox settings, but the audio settings were messed up, thus when the intro ended it would crash back to the prompt.

The games are quite easy to get running on Windows 10. You just use dgVoodoo2, copy DLL some to the folder with the games executable then do a little setup and it runs. You can find info on dgVoodoo on PCGamingWiki, its quite a well known graphics API wrapper. I don't know how GOG is going to handle Armada 1 & 2 but it shouldn't be a hassle for.
